A Paddling Boat Ride Across The Ward's Lake, Shillong

Quite often I've given my imagination a romantic thought about what and how might it must feel to sail over lakes, riverraft on rivers and scuba dive in oceans! Are these experiences really worth your breath or do they feel quite ordinary as walking over the land, breathing the same air knowing is enough to keep us survive?

Maybe they are more than just to keep survive, maybe more than to keep us awake while eyes are wide open but one thing I was sure as hell when I started living off those experiences one by one that I could speak my mouth with no regret, head as upfront as sky, guts quite lively that they do serve you as alive the moments of your life as bursting your senses like various gasms you have never held before. They would jolt your inner anxiety apart, pull you out from daily boring feelings and make you thrive you wouldn't want to trade those moments for anything but to add these again and again.

Well, it wasn't until I perched on unsteady paddling boat at Shillong did I realise navigating over the lakes can be as surreal an experience you dare imagine. And oh well, add the pleasant weather lil nippy at evening and air quality levels as decent as good to thirty AQI against Delhi's unimaginable poor levels!

Spread over several miles the Ward's lake in Shillong was all welcoming with its trees standing right upfront as high to touch the sky with the essence of delightful pink cherry blossom flowers to warm your heart out in the month of fall, November.

They say the state organises various cultural events when cheery blossom trees peak out and present the people as glorious sight as it could be imagined. Expect the heavens come serve you right across the land? Well here you got it, at the Ward's Lake, where lake's surface is well decorated with blissful cheery blossom flowers, where exotic birds would just come by and sing their enchanting songs to fill your ears, where stark and stunning colored fish are there to guard the water. The sight and ambience of sailing down the lake is all and all a holy grail to the all kinds of serene experiences the life has to offer.

As four of us seated and sailed off the pyre, I could sense the gut feeling of how prosperous and rich the lake life appears to be with all its wonderful yet charming effects to unexceptional heights that add undeniable edge of adventure to the experience.

Even while we experience these little lovely, memorable events in life, it is, surely, worth to keep the mind open and spirits to unforging heights so the sense of adventure could ever be kept alive.
