Generation Gap Vs Family Gap

Recently I had a visit to a old age home near my house. It's such a pathetic condition to see them over there and really a deplorable condition. We came to know that their children left them over there because of some issues and they are leading their life in those homes. This is happening because of the Generation Gap destroying the Family Gap.

Generation Gap means difference in attitude and lack of understanding between younger people and older people. This gap has been always there but now it has reached to its explosive state. The values and pattern of life has changed altogether. The world has left dictatorship and autocracy far behind. In olden days granny's used to recite stories to their grandchildren but now children are busy with their attractive mobile phones.

Due to Generation Gap 'nuclear' disintegrated into 'small'. Now days are of freedom, democracy and equal rights. Authority is no longer tolerated. Everyone likes to live and behave on their own way. It is now destroying family life completely. This is increasing day by day in India. Parents need to ensure that the communication is in proper way between children and their grandparents so that no problems arise.
