The term "developed country" is very subjective but generally means the country is advanced in terms of infrastructure, industrialization, income per capita and standards of living.

A developing country, less developed country, less economically developed country or an underdeveloped country is a country with a less developed industrial base and a low Human Development Index (HDI) relative to other countries. However, this definition is not universally agreed upon.

Qatar has one of the highest per capita incomes in the world, but is not considered developed. Different world organizations have their own determination on which countries are developed and which aren't. While IMF lists 36 countries as developed, OECD lists only 34 countries.

Since the late 1990s, developing countries tended to demonstrate higher growth rates than developed countries. But the term "developing" describes a currently observed situation and not a changing dynamic or expected direction of progress.

Developing countries tend to have some characteristics in common. They commonly have low levels of access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, energy poverty, high levels of pollution, high proportion of people with tropical and infectious diseases and high number of road traffic accidents. Effects of global warming are expected to impact developing countries more than wealthier countries, as most of them have a high "climate vulnerability".

India is one of the fastest developing countries in the world. But even after more than 60 years of independence, India is still labeled as a Developing country. Many people in our country know and have an idea that India is a developing country. But people do not focus on the things which need to managed properly in order to make our country grow.

There are many issues which are preventing us and our country to develop. We, as an individual are not growing and hence our country is also not getting developed.

Every individual in our country must have the guts to take responsibility in order to improve ourselves. This improvement will help our country to grow as well. I am talking about every individual, every political party and every influencer to stand for righteousness and make our Country developed.
