Cicada 3301- The Hardest Puzzle On Earth

Hey guys, welcome in my 3^rd article.
In the last article you guys get to know about the fillers words which we use more when we are thinking and the game in which we use our thinking ability is PUZZLE.

After hearing the word “puzzle” we all are retrieving the memories about so many puzzles that we had played like the game Sudoku, mobile puzzle and newspapers puzzles.

But what if I say, there is a puzzle which no one is able to solve in past fews years and still we don’t have the answer of that puzzle.

So let’s start about that puzzle.

Cicada 3301

The hardest puzzles on the internet is Cicada-3301, these puzzles are one of the greatest mystery of our world. Cicada had uploaded 3 puzzles till now in which two are solved and the third one is still unsolved.

Actually here we are not going to be discussing a story or something, we are going to explore these 3 puzzles of Cicada-3301 and at the end if something goes above from your head then don’t worry guys because these are the hardest puzzles.

So welcome into the world of CICADA-3301……………

Puzzle 1

On 5 January 2012, a random photo posted on the website “4chan” which is a social media site like Instagram by an anonymous user. The post said that we are searching for highly intelligent people and here is a test, there is a hidden message in this image, find it and it will lead you on the road to finding us.

At First Sight

We don’t get the hidden message but when we open this image in some text editor like Notepad then at the end of the text we got a CYPHER (a meaningful line which is coded by a particular method to make it unreadable). So after de-cypher this line we got a link of a website on which we get another image.

Outguess

Similarly on first sight, we are not able to retrieve some kind of information from this image. But there are two words – OUT and GUESS which give us a hint about an application OUTGUESS that is a steganography application which is used to hide text or whole file in an image. So after decoding the given image using outguess we got a message which have some codes (let’s talk about these codes later) and a link. This link leads us to a Reddit website (similar to fb) and there are almost 128 posts are posted by an anonymous user but the interesting thing is these all 128 posts don’t have any meaningful content not even in their titles.

After some days an individual identifies the headers of that Reddit website and these are MAYA numerals and with the help of these numerals we de-cypher the titles of these 128 posts and get a page of meaningful sentences which is from a novel.

THE Phone Call

So now come on that codes, these codes are the book codes of the page of that novel and when these codes are decoded we get a message- “ Call us at a telephone number TWO ONE FOUR THREE NINE ONE NINE SIX ONE EIGHT”.

Phone rings………… VERY GOOD, YOU HAVE DONE WELL. THERE ARE THREE PRIME NUMBERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VERY FIRST IMAGE, 3301 IS ONE OF THEM, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND THE OTHERS TWO AND THEN MULTIPLY THESE NUMBERS TOGETHER AND THEN ADD A .com TO FIND THE NEXT STEP. GOOD LUCK.

So, In the very first image we have to find the 2 prime numbers, after some days someone finds these 2 prime numbers and that are the dimensions of that image which are 509 and 503. After multiplication of these numbers and adding a .com to it we get www.845145127.com. On this link we get a image and after outguessing this image we got 14 coordinates of different locations. These locations are spread all over the worlds, so for the next hint the puzzle solvers used to went to these locations. On every location, there is a poster of CICADA image and there is a QR code in every poster.

Scan And Win

These QR codes leads us to a poem and some codes, this poem leads us to a book and after using the codes we get a link from this book and this link enters us in dark web and those puzzle solvers who enters in that dark web first got added in Cicada group and others are left……….

After some days Cicada confirms that they got some intelligent people and there are more puzzles coming. So stay tuned.

But no one knew what happened to the selected ones and this is still a mystery.
