Recently I watched a movie named I feel pretty starring Amy Schumer and it has become one of my favorites.

The message conveyed through the movie is something our generation needs who gives so much importance to the outer appearance rather than their inner qualities.

The actress is named Renee Bennet who is a regular employ but insecure about her looks and have low self-esteem. An incident took place in which she hit her head and now she sees herself she always wanted to look like, as a model.

She is surprised, happy and very confident about herself and her looks. And with this new found confidence and love for herself she tried new things, she found new people, she does all the things she ever wanted to and guess what she was amazing at everything.

She is bold and living her life fearlessly.

But not because she looked different but because she has confidence, she believes in herself more than ever. And isn't afraid of what people will think of her. And it's not like she learned something new, no she always had it within herself she just wasn't confident enough to let the world see it.

She was shackled by the society's demand to be pretty and the wrong conception that you will achieve great heights only if you are pretty.

Yes, looks might be the first thing people notice about you but what you have inside, what you can offer other than your looks that's what keeps people with You.

Lessons I'd like to take from this movie are

1. If you are confident enough you can achieve anything you want.
2. Looks are not everything, they are just a part of who we are.
3. It is better to be a chrismatic person who is smart and confident rather than to a pretty but dumb.

So, always work on yourself and improve what you can and most importantly believe in yourself.

A must watch for everyone, it did not only instilled new confidence in me but gave me a different perspective to look at things.
