Sudan has suffered long periods of isolation since the year 1993 when US added Bashir's goverment as the sponsor for islamic terrorism.

The Sudanese war broke out on December 19,2018. The protests was for the demands of rising costs of living and detoriation of economic conditions of all levels of society. The economic crisis was at the such an extent that it emptied bank machines. These demonstrations turned into demands for the president Omar Al- Bashir to step down. The president dissolved the national and regional govternments replacing them with Military and Intelligence Service Officers. The president was ruling Sudan since 1989, as a dictator. In april 2019, the military removed Al Bashir from power though coupd'etat (illegally).

The street protests organised by the Sudanese Professionals Associations (SPA) and Democratic Oppositions Group calling on the ruling of TMC (Transitional Military Council) led by Lt-Gen Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Burhan to step aside in favour of Civilian led Transitional Govternment. Negotiations were made between the two teams- TMC and Civilian Opposition to form a Transitional Government until TMC killed 118 people in the Khartoum Massacre on June3. Tensions were on a rise as many more were killed and women were raped , politicians were threatened to be killed, they disppeared as they were arrested by the TMC. Even after all the brutal killing and heinous crimes carried out by the military the Sudanese have decided to carry on their protests. Three day strike for civil disobedience was carried out by the protestors. On June 12 TMC agrred to free the political prisoners and create new negotiations for to from Civilian Government.

On 3 june a 26 year old engineer was fatlly shot by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Darfur while he was trying to save 2 women. His favorite color was blue, so the users of various social media sites such as Twitter and Instagram turned their profile picture to blue in respect of the victim and to show their support for the Sudanese.

The military has shut down the internet in Sudan giving the reason of national security, whereas the act done by the military is to prevent the sudanese to gain movement in their revolution against the military.

The African Union(AU) suspended Sudan for until there is an establishment of civil goevrnment.

UNAMID (United nations and african union hybrid operation in darfur) is a joint african union and united nations for peacekeeping mission approved by united nations security council resolution. Transitional Military Council decided to withdraw all security forces from UNAMID. The UN has opposed the transitional military council decree stating that according to the agreement with the Sudanese Government that the facilities are for civilian purpose solely.
