It is always so that the most creepiest things fascinate you, even if it scares the heck out of you. The more outlandish the creature is, the more spellbind you get. But, there are some creatures that you wouldn’t ever long to meet. They look amusing only on screens and you would be glad to know that they are extinct now.

Kaprosuchus

This is what a Kaprosuchus looks like. It looks like a crocodile with long legs and it can run even faster than a human. It is actually a species of Mahajangasuchid Crocodilyform. It has a 507 mm long skull and 603 mm long lower jaw and it’s complete structure is 6 meters in length. This animal got extinct for about 66 million years ago.

Megalodon

Would you ever dare to have this creature swimming along with you? This is a Megalodon, an extinct species of either Lamnidae or Otodontidae. This shark is somewhat 50 feet long and it’s tooth would resemble a normal human’s height. This terrifying animal lived for 14 million years and it got extinct about two and a half million years ago.

Andrewsarchus

This enormously huge creature isn’t a dinosaur or reptile at all, it is a mammal. It lived during the middle Eocene epoch, the area that we now consider as Inner Mongolia, China. In accordant with the researchers, this animal quiet resembles another mammal known as Velociraptor. They are shuddery looking and would eat you in a heartbeat. But ironically, their descendants are believed to be goats and sheep which we eat.

Megapiranha

Megapiranha as the name urges, is an extinct member of the family of Serrasalmid Characin which is about 71 to 128 centimeters in length, extremely larger than regular piranhas. They lived during the late Miocene period in Argentina. Up till now scientists have only discovered the tooth pattern of this fish but it’s structure is still unknown.

Cameroceras

This creature lived during the Ordovician period, around 470 million years ago. This creature is about 9 to 12 meters in length. So would you dare to mess around with the tentacles of this gargantuan creature?

Helicopoiron

Well I can be very sure that you wouldn’t have even imagined that such a creature would have ever existed on earth. Helicoprion is an extinct species of Eugeneodontid Holocephalid fish. It is a shark but a shark with a circular saw in it’s lower jaw for real. This creature had lived for about 290 million years ago and eventually went extinct about 240 million years ago. It was 9 to 13 feet long.

Titanoboa

You all have heard about anacondas, but have you ever heard of this species of snake? This extinct snake lived in La Guajira, Colombia about 60 million years ago. It is 42 feet long and weighs up to 1,135 kg. this snake was so big that it feasted on crocodiles. I guess we are all glad they are extinct.
