I was talking to my grandma the other day and was telling her about the content writing I do for WrytIn. She was very happy and said that she loved all my articles(I hope you all do too!) I was facing a writer's block that day, but my grandma being the amazing person she is, she told me that I could write about Handy Hints also known as Ghar Ke Nuske in Hindi! So here are a few helpful tips straight from my Grandma's bag of handy hints! Hope you enjoy reading!

1.Stomach Ache
Stomach aching a lot? Does it feel like it is twisting and sqeezing and the pain is unbearable? Ta-Da! The first handy hint from Grandma's bag is for stomach ache. If you mix a pinch of Asafoetida with water and put the paste on your navel and let it soak in the skin. Asafoetida is an anti-inflammatory and hence helps relieve the pain.

2.Body Ache
Tired from your journey, was it a hectic day at work, body ache, period cramps? Ta-Da! The second handy hint from Grandma's bag is for body ache. Drinking ginger water or chewing a piece of ginger does the work. Ginger contains gingerol which has powerful medicinal properties and can also be used to treat nausea,pain, soreness etc.

3.Want shiny nails?
Bored and tired of your brittle, small and not at all shiny nails? Ta-Da! The third handy hint from Grandma's bag is for nails. Soaking your nails in 1 tablespoon of lemon(which contains a lot of Vitamin C) will make your nails shiny, help them gorw and remove any stain there is! Isn't this a tip which will help us all?!

4.Dry skin on face?
Dry skin which itches very much? Doesn't look good in photos? Ta-Da! The fourth handy hint from Grandma's bag is for your face. Applying raw milk to your face (which has lactic acid) as a face mask will heal your dry skin and make your skin soft, heal the acne and also help with sunburns! Isn't this amazing?

5.White teeth?
Want shiny, sparkly and white teeth? Ta-Da! The fifth and final handy hint from Grandma for this article is for your teeth! Try brushing your teeth with mashed starwberries and get rid of the yellow stains on your teeth! Strawberries contain malic acid which is a natural whitener for enamel.
