The world cup fever:

The ICC Cricket World Cup is all set to begin on 30th of May, 2019. The 12th edition of the world cup will witness a lot of teams participating with great form. Though the experts have a lot to say on the favourites for this Cricket World Cup, India will always be the favourites for all of us.

Here are 5 big reasons why India would win the Cricket World Cup 2019:
1.The great opening pair:
India have two of the most prolific opening batsmen who have contributed largely to the team. Rohit Sharma is ranked 2nd in the ICC ODI rankings while Shikhar Dhawan stands at no 13 in the list. These two have great understandings and gives India a left-right hand combination. The great form of Shikhar in the IPL would give him a lot of confidence while Rohit Sharma have been very consistent in white ball cricket.

2.The Pandya Effect:
Hardik Pandya is 2nd in the Most Valuable Player’s list of IPL 2019, just behind Andre Russel. The kind of hitting form with the bat that Hardik has shown would bring a lot of stability and explosive strength to the India’s lower middle order. The final of Champions Trophy is an example that when Pandya gets going, the conditions would matter very less.

3.Dhoni’s Last World Cup:
Dhoni was the silent architect of India’s World cup win in 2011. While the team did not do really well in the 2015 world cup. Blame of that performance would be given to the inexperience of the team in Australian Conditions. This time, Dhoni has proved his worth in overseas conditions by winning the ‘Man of the Series’ award in India’s last tour to Australia.

We can expect great finishing touches from M.S and his strategical ideas to Virat.
4.The Pace Department:
What India would be really happy about is the pace attack of the world cup squad. With Jusprit Bumrah emerging as one of the finest death over bowlers, Md. Shami has shown great abilities with the white ball in recent terms. We can expect our pace department to be even stronger with the swinging deliveries and experience of Bhubaneshwar Kumar as well.

5.King Kohli as Captain:
Virat Kohli has shown why he is the no.1 ranked batsman in the world when he scored a lot of runs in India’s tour to England. Kohli struggled in England during his initial days of career, but the batsman has shown a great deal of improvement and ability to play in the English conditions.

There have been a lot of debate regarding the no.4 spot of the Indian team, but the current Indian cricket team is confident and is most likely to win the Cricket World Cup 2019 with all the efforts of the players and the management.
