Polycstic Ovary Syndrome is commonly termed as PCOS.
Some of the common signs and symptoms of PCOS are excessive weight gain, diabetes, irregular periods, infertility and dandruff.

There is no exact cause for the same but it is generally believed that taking too much of stress or changing lifestyle or being overweight or hormonal imbalances are few factors. 1.) Irregularity of periods.
2.) High level of hormones causing excess facial hair, or acne
3.) Ovaries that are polycystic show an increase in the size of one or both the ovaries.

In order to overcome this one must lose weight, exercise, have a good balanced diet, quite smoking, and practice medication.

One of the well known actress, Sara Ali Khan (Daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh) revealed that even she had suffered from Polystic Ovary Syndrome that is PCOS. She avoided eating junk food, as junk food can lead to weight gain; increase your blood sugar levels and blood pressure. Therefore, eliminate these convenient foods from diet. One must take more fibre as it helps you keep full longer. It will curb your hunger pangs and you will not overeat in the next meal. Do more of physical activity as it reduces body fat and insulin. And the most important thing is to avoid stress. Managing stress level is very important. Any kind of stress whether it is work-related, personal or financial should be avoided. In order to avoid stress one must practice yoga, or do breathing exercises. One must also try sipping water all day long.

By following these simple health care tips one will be able to overcome PCOS.
