In economic terms, it is a current medium of exchange in the form of coins and banknotes; coins and banknotes collectively. Earlier, we had a barter system of exchanging goods with other people. There is no doubt that money has set a bar of rich and poor in society by the wealth people possess. There are the demarcations which have separated us. Money can buy anything. Wait, let me reframe it. Can money buy everything?
Whether a man or his soul. Anything? Be it a child or his childhood by luring him of giving money for the work and burning his childhood in the chimneys.
We should respect the money we have or we got this respect due to the money we possess now. It is a very tricky question. Especially, when you have to choose between money and your psyche. Money is very significant for sustenance in this inflationary market. Also, if you don't listen to your conscience, that feeling won't let to live satisfied.
We often hear the character traits in an individual as money- minded. The quest for having limitless wealth and money is quite high in them. This is not a negative thing. They push themselves harder to reach their target. They have their goal in front of their eyes. Money can't be earned without burning midnight oil.
It should be noticed that the way we treat a rich man is a lot different than how we shout on a poor fellow. Just wear a Rolex/ Rado in your hand, expensive shoes and carry a smartphone, then watch how people will salute you like an army officer. It's satirical on our perspectives to treat them differently.
People respect money, so decide what you want. Money or respect?
The hold of money is temporary but the respect and honour your earn is pretty permanent. We can have access to the bank lockers where we keep our entire wealth safe but this can not reach people’s hearts.
Money can't buy happiness. You can buy the stuff which can make you happy with money. It's a bitter truth that you can't live your whole life surrounded by objects. You live in a society where you find your happiness in someone else's happiness.
Life isn't about rich by your pocket, it's all about being endowed by your spirit. You can make your life meaningful by balancing financial and social relations. Living it on your terms is the real wealth.
The worst discovery of human life is money. But it is the most trusted material to test an nature.
