Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of aids. He was affected by the HIV virus through an infected blood transfusion during his heart surgery in 1983.

From all over the world, he received letters from his fans, one of them conveyed, “Why does god have to select you for such a bad disaster?”

To this Arthur Ashe replied :The world over –50,000,000 children have started playing tennis ,50 lakh learn to play tennis , 5 lakh learn professional tennis, 50 thousand come to the circuit , 5 thousand reach the grand slam ,50 reach Wimbledon ,4 reach semifinal. 2 to the Final, When I was holding the cup I never asked god “why me?” And today in pain I should not be asking GOD “why me?”

Thesewords of sir Arthur Ashe reminds me that whenever something bad happens with us we always blame god and the situations .I have often heard people saying “god is not with me! Situations were not according to me time was not right”......and at last similar question comes “why me?”

But the irony is that if something good happens with us then we tend to say it’s all the outcome of our hard work then we don’t say “why me” not others.

Humans are so pretentious that they do not realize it’s never the situations or the almighty it’s all about how we treat the situations because they are not always perfect we have to make them perfect. Almighty can show us the way, can give guidance but it solely depends on us whether we follow it or not

While a child playing at a farm sees plane overhead wishes to be it and pilot flying it sees down and wants to be in his home that’s life you have to cope with whatever life throws at you so it’s just the difference of the situation you are in and the complexity of the situation forces u to become the best version of yourself.

God has different test for all, the one who passes it becomes the winner and the people who gives up have the same excuse “why me”. There is very small difference between WHY ME and WHY NOT ME and it is that slight difference that decides your capabilities.

Every human being on this earth has their own share of misery and happiness. And if misery comes before happiness , you have deal with some tough situations in your life or have to make some gritty decisions but never say “why me” , just say “try me” because at last everything falls into place and maybe the outcomes could be better than you even anticipated.

So enjoy wherever you are and whatever you are doing and it’s not always ‘why me’ as everyone possesses their share of sorrows and joy and so do you, may be somewhat less or somewhat more. Well, that’s the beauty of life. it is full of surprises so always be ready for such surprises. As it makes you a better human being.
