1- Gender inequality

Gender inequality refers to the differences between men and women made by society or unequal treatment that affects an individual’s lives experience. Discrimination against women and girls is a pervasive and long-running phenomenon that portrays Indian culture at each dimension. India's advancement towards gender equality, measured by its position on rankings such as the Gender Development Index has been disappointing, despite fairly rapid rates of economic growth.

2- Materialism

Too much worried about physical comforts or the obtaining of riches and material belongings, instead of spiritual, intellectual, or cultural values is called materialism. An example of materialism is explaining love in terms of material things, valuing a new car over friendships. Materialism is bad for society as it priorities things and affects the relationship. Some people even start thinking that owning and purchasing things are vital means to accomplish significant life objectives, for example, joy, achievement and attractive quality.

3- Poverty

Poverty is the shortage or the absence of a specific measure of material belongings or money. It is a multifaceted idea, which may incorporate social, economic, and political components. measured by the number of people who fall below a certain level of income—called the poverty line—that defines the required payment for an essential way of life. As an individual, you can help in overcoming this problem by creating jobs, raising the minimum wage or join NGO’s and help the needy people.

4- Drug abuse

The habitual taking of illegal drugs is called drug abuse. There are a few reasons why drug usage gets changed to drug abuse. Nowadays drug abuse is becoming common amongst youngsters as they want to ‘fit in’ and believe that taking or consuming drugs makes them cool. But this can be controlled if preventive measures are taken by family or institution.Media- an important player in life- needs to highlight the damning consequences of drug abuse. It is significant that the young are made to feel that drug abuse itself is harmful.

5- Religious conflict

A religious war or sacred war is a war fundamentally caused or supported by contrasts in religion. These may include, Religious violence, Religious war, Religious intolerance, Religious controversies. Religious conflict is experiencing a recovery.The past decades have seen a sharp increment in violent sectarian or religious tensions. Measures are been taken by faith-based communities to control religious conflict
