Although I am studying B-Tech 2nd year in HETC college, But I have my own explanation for this question.
There could be 2 possible reasons:-
➡️Parental Pressure:- This is one of the biggest problem in India, students are forced to opt for subjects they don't want to be in. 90% of my engineer friends told me that they never wanted to be an engineer but they didn't have any option.
➡️Poor or Outdated Curriculum:- Till the end of my 2nd year, I realize that there is a huge gap between a theory and practical part. The Syllabus is too much lengthy and the scoring pattern is so much heavy such that our primary education is actually a syllabus dependent.I think this is a big problem that we can't learn properly in a practical way & also most of the engineering colleges are unable to provide education to the student that would get them suitable jobs.
According to my knowledge and sense, i think these are the couple of factors responsible for unemployment of 94% engineering graduates in India specifically.
Thank You.....
