A happy memory,

The rare symmetry ,

At times life surprises you ,

Encourages you to try something new .

Like a breath of fresh air ,

Or the shade that helps one escape the sun’s glare ,

These moments allow you to dream ,

To your eyes it brings that shiny gleam

This feeling is like that song ,

Allowing you to get lost in a throng ,

Those rare moments of clarity ,

That make you forget life’s cruel disparity.

And to dream , those who dare ,

Who posses the passion to embrace their creative flare ,

These moments are just like that song ,

That allows you to get lost in a throng .

Recognise this feeling ? That song that keeps running through your head ? That person whose one text can bring a smile to your face ? In today’s highly competitive world , we try to keep up with the busy and demanding nature of our jobs or our education . In all this , I feel we all often lose ourselves and so this poem is for this who find those rare moments of clarity ; of self discovery ; it’s for them to know that the feeling is real . It’s for them to know that it’s their time to seize the day . So to all my friends out there , go ahead and discover what you overlook trying to chase things you don’t really want .
