Well, have you heard of the word backpacking? If you are a regular traveler then yes. Backpacking is a low-cost, independent trip. In this, you have to travel with the minimum money and make the best out of it. You stay at public lodges, use public transport and most of the time you walk around the city and explore it, not much of the luggage mostly a backpack on your shoulder which carries everything you need for the trip. It is a hell lot of fun to go on a backpacking trip with your friends and camping in a forest or just strolling around the city. It is full of adventure where you get to go on hiking, camping, and all the outdoor adventures.

To have a wonderful backpacking trip, follow these tips.

Choose the correct destination
This is the most important tip every backpacker need to keep in my mind. You need to pick the correct destination where you have to travel. It is always good to pick some place which is near to your home as you don’t want to travel more by any other means of transport and this way you can spend more time at that place and can go on a hike around that place. Also keep in mind in which season are you traveling, going outside in a forest in a winter season is not advisable. And if you are planning to go to some other country make sure you book your tickets in advance.

Pack the essentials

Pack only the essentials. Pack important things like your gears which you will be needing like a tent for camping in the night. You will be needing sleeping bags, kitchen supplies like a stove and a plate and a glass maybe. You need all these supplies if you are going to cook for yourself. Pack less clothing only the required ones. Don’t forget to keep your hiking shoes. Always carry a flashlight and a medical kit with yourself. If you are staying in some lodges then you don’t need to carry the kitchen supplies.

Travel in a group

You should travel in a group so that the expenses and responsibilities are equally divided. Also if you are in a group you can enjoy more like the saying, “More the Merrier”. In groups, people will always look out for each other make sure that they are not conned by anyone.

Avoid taking transportation
If you are going far off places then take transportation, otherwise, explore the place on your feet. This will save you money and you get to explore the unexplored areas also. You can interact with the locals, eat what local people eat, go shopping and all. But if you are walking, always guard your things against pickpockets and scam artists.

Prepare yourself

You need to prepare yourself physically and mentally to face any circumstances that come your way. Think practically and then take your next step. Enjoy your backpacking trip.

I absolutely love it! 😍 And oh I just saw your comment on my post. I get views because of my friends on various social media, especially Facebook groups about travel. That generates a lot of views quickly. You know, I have no idea why some unattractive posts here get so many views, in thousands, while worthy ones like yours (and mine :') if you permit me to say that) don't... Such a pity.
