Scoring well in the exams, passing the tests, answering few questions
and solving some problems is intelligence, but not wisdom.
In a group of people, where some talk about their materialistic
possessions while some brag about the profits they incur, the one
who stays silent and observes, is wise, the one who knows how to
handle a situation, even if he doesn’t, stays calm in such
circumstances, is wise, most of all, the one who sees something good
in everything and is mature enough to understand that everything is
happening for a reason, is wise.

When someone walks on the path of wisdom, realisation strikes him
on every step, and he grows, bit by bit, every moment. When to stay
silent and observe, when to stand up and raise your voice, when to
take a stand for others and for yourself and when and whom to be
kind, when a person knows and understands all this, wisdom grows in
him, each second.

To take decisions on our own is one thing, which is good and helps us
to stand firm on our two feet. But, in the pride of taking decisions and
being right while taking them, one has the possibility to develop a
sense of overconfidence, and as rightly as it is said, excess of
anything and everything is bad. Taking decisions for your own self is
appreciable and great. But when that decision goes wrong, taking a
step back and listening to others is what makes us wise and humble
and most of all, good at heart. At such moments, the piece of advice
that has always stuck with me is: breathe. A single seven letter word,
yet it has powers to calm one’s mind down, settle the thoughts, heal
the heart and pacify the soul.

Everyone must remember this one thing, have courage and be kind,
and you shall seek wisdom.
