Advantages Of Having An Elder Brother

So,today (i.e. 24th of May) turns out to be Brother's Day. Now brothers, they are a living paradox. Annoying and awesome at the same time. They have our back just like we have theirs. I have an elder brother and yes, you're right he's nothing like me. We are poles apart from each other. Even then, we get along i.e. when we are far from each other' Put us on a house and we'll make that it ain't quiet.

The relation between two brothers is not as it seems to the world. In one way,it's messy,loud,not so cheesy and a perfect example for "appearances can be deceptive."

Here's a list of some crazy advantages of having an elder brother.
(I can't discuss the disadvantages because I don't want to start World War No. n (as n tends to infinity)

1.You're a celebrity at school
If you and you're elder brother are going to the same school, then there's a very high chance that you will be a celebrity from your first day at school. Teachers will recognise you instantly, and will give you more attention. You don't have to be scared of any fights in the school, because your brother has your back.

2.Extra Clothes
If you're a little bit shorter than your brother or there's not much of an age gap between you both, then consider your self lucky than your friends. You have an additional wardrobe to raid on. All that is his' is yours. Be it some party, a vacation,family dinner or a date with your girlfriend, you always have new clothes to try. You're the luckiest person if you're brother has a great fashion sense.

3.Saviour
Be it late night parties, Goa trip with your friends or a movie with your partner, your brother will rescue from all the awkward situations at your home. From lying to our parents and managing thing at home, he'll save you from all troubles. Not to mention awkward situations at family functions and also shutting the mouths of other relatives, we owe them big time.

4.ATM (Any time money)
It's the last week of the month.For a hosteller, last week of every month is equal to living a poor man's life. You can't ask your parents every month for extra pocket money and neither can you live such a life. The only source of money then, will be our brothers. Thanks to UPI apps, life has become a bit more easy for me. I ask my brother for BEF (Brother's Emergency Funding) almost every month.

5.Best Adviser
From selecting a stream after 12th, career choices and life changing decisions, they are the best advisers in everything related to you. Their advices will only help you because they are totally selfless and unbiased. They're just a phone call away, anytime for you.

6.Everything can be shared
They trust you the most after your parents. Sometimes, even more than them. He is the person with whom you can feel free to share anything. Whether it's any issue between you and your friends,you feeling low, any mischief you have done, or you seeing a girl,dating someone, you can tell him everything about your life.

You're not living your life to the fullest if you're not on good terms with your brother.
Their way of expressing love and concern may be different, but the amount is almost the same as your parents.
