Unemployment means the lack of job for those people who are willing to work but are not able to find an activity to earn their daily wages and profit. If this happen even when jobs are available in the market it leads to ‘job crisis’.

It is a political issue which most of the political parties cover up for their votes. They try to provide loans for self employment but it is a vain as most do not have ideas about it and people who have ideas get a lot of money and use it on other resources.

In India there are lots of reasons which lead to unemployment. Most of the reasons are unique only to India.

Most of the engineering graduates are unemployed in India. This is because they get degree form colleges which are not that reputed, and the problem here is the advertisements. The colleges advertise themselves to be best in everything but they are actually not. Most of the colleges are B or C graded. Even most of the deemed and private universities are not up to that level. Even MBA graduates find a job only if they are from top business schools. The degree not just depends on a single paper, but on the skills.

Cast system is another problem in India. The reservation of jobs for people of certain casts is the main problem where most of the people are left behind.

Most of the people prefer working in government sectors to public sectors. They try their best to get into government jobs either central or state. They are attracted towards the perks given. It is considered secure. They do not go to private sector jobs even if they have the best academic qualification. This leads to unemployment of many.

Gender inequality is a problem which makes most of the women sit back at home. Though many women are aspiring and qualified, they do not get jobs in various sectors. They are thought as unfit to work. Though women are made to work, the number of women in many fields are comparatively less.

The problem with unemployment is crime. Many people tend to get into some crimes to earn their daily food. They get into gang and commit crimes to earn lots of money and become rich fast. To avoid these crimes and growing poverty we will have to provide jobs to people. Cast system and gender inequality must be abolished to provide jobs to many.
