Mukesh Ambani - A Motivating Person

I have not seen a person who is more multi-dimensional and motivating than Mr. Mukesh Ambani. There are endless viewpoints from which success can be measured. And all of them say that he is successful.

Starting from his educational background, an engineer and a management graduate from the best universities in the world. He is also the unbelievable architect of the Jamnagar Oil refinery, the cash cow of Reliance Industries. Being a marketing student myself, I cannot believe how he profitably disrupted the very mature and already competitive telecom industry, while providing superior products and services to consumers. His’ is the company with largest turnover in India, the largest private sector company with greatest market capitalization. Reliance Industries is the only company which had given 1:1 bonus shares to its shareholders. The richest Indian, owns amongst the most expensive houses in the world, with a very humble and sober personality.

For me, Mukesh Ambani is success and life personified. An incredible son, who took up the Jamnagar project, for his father’s wish (he wanted to become a professor) and accepted his mother’s decision to let his brother handle Reliance Communication (was his brain child) and steer Reliance Industries for himself.

His’ is the family everyone can envy. I see lot of him, his advice, energy, his subtlety and his ability in his family environment (witnessed the 2 weddings, got a chance to see his other side) and his personal space.

He is a person who has touched the sky, spread far and across and remained deep rooted to his country, family and people. I want to emulate him and his energy is very inspiring.
