  केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग के अनुदेशों के अनुसरण में रिज़र्व बैंक ने बैंकों और अधिसूचित वित्तीय संस्था2ओं को दिनांक 20 फरवरी 1999 को परिपत्र सं. डीबीओडी. बीसी. डीएल 12 / 20. 16. 002 / 98 - 99 जारी कर दिया है । उक्त परिपत्र के अंतर्गत बैंकों और अधिसूचित वित्तीयय संस्थाओं से 25 लाख रुपये और उससे अधिक राशि के जानबूझकर चूक करनेवालों के बारे में तिमाही आधार पर जानकारी मांगी जाती है तथा तिमाही आधार पर उन्हें भी समेकित जानकारी भेजी जाती है ।

• The vigilance Unit Endeavours to:

• To ensure speedy processing of vigilance cases at all stages. In regard to cases requiring consultation with the Central vigilance Commission, a decision as to whether the case had a vigilance angle shall in every case be taken by the Chief vigilance Officer who, when in doubt, may refer the matter to his administrative head, i. e. Secretary in the case of Ministries / Departments and Chief Executive in the case of Public Sector.
  सभी अवस्थाओं पर सतर्कता मामलों की तीव्र कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करना । केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग से परामर्श की अपेक्षा वाले मामलों में, मुख्य सतर्कता अधिकारी द्वारा प्रत्येक मामले में मामले के सतर्कता दृष्टिकोण जैसे कौन, किस समय, शक में आदि की सूचना अपने प्रशासनिक अधिकारी को देते हुए मामला भेजे यथाः मंत्रालयों / विभागों के मामले में सचिव को और सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के मामले में मुख्य कार्यपालक को मामले प्रस्तुमत किए जाएं ।
