  मसलन उस अल्लाह अब इस गॉव को ऐसी वीरानी के बाद क्योंकर आबाद करेगा इस पर ख़ुदा ने उसको सौ बरस तक मुर्दा रखा फिर उसको जिला उठाया पूछा तुम कितनी देर पड़े रहे अर्ज क़ी एक दिन पड़ा रहा एक दिन से भी कम फ़रमाया नहीं तुम सौ बरस पड़े रहे अब ज़रा अपने खाने पीने को देखो कि बुसा तक नहीं और ज़रा अपने गधे को तो देखो कि उसकी हड्डियाँ ढेर पड़ी हैं और सब इस वास्ते किया है ताकि लोगों के लिये तुम्हें क़ुदरत का नमूना बनाये और अच्छा अब हड्डियों की तरफ़ नज़र करो कि हम क्योंकर जोड़ जाड़ कर ढाँचा बनाते हैं फिर उनपर गोश्त चढ़ाते हैं पस जब ये उनपर ज़ाहिर हुआ तो बेसाख्ता बोल उठे कि मैं ये यक़ीने कामिल जानता हूं कि ख़ुदा हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है

  आसमानों के रसतों पर फिर मूसा के ख़ुदा को झांक कर लूँ और मैं तो उसे यक़ीनी झूठा समझता हूँ, और इसी तरह फिरऔन की बदकिरदारयाँ उसको भली करके दिखा दी गयीं थीं और वह राहे रास्ता से रोक दिया गया था, और फिरऔन की तद्बीर तो बस बिल्कुल ग़ारत गुल ही थीं

• And who is more unjust than he who prevents from the masjids of Allah, that His name should be remembered in them, and strives to ruin them ? these, it was not proper for them that they should have entered them except in fear ; they shall meet with disgrace in this world, and they shall have great chastisement in the hereafter.
  और उससे बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो खुदा की मसजिदों में उसका नाम लिए जाने से रोके और उनकी बरबादी के दर पे हो, ऐसों ही को उसमें जाना मुनासिब नहीं मगर सहमे हुए ऐसे ही लोगों के लिए दुनिया में रूसवाई है और ऐसे ही लोगों के लिए आख़ेरत में बड़ा भारी अज़ाब है

• Or He can ruin them due to peoples’ sins and He can forgive a great deal.
  उनको उनके आमाल के सबब तबाह कर दे

• —those who were expelled from their homes unjustly, only because they said, ‘Allah is our Lord. ’ Had not Allah repulsed the people from one another, ruin would have befallen the monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques in which Allah’s Name is much invoked. Allah will surely help those who help Him. Indeed Allah is all - strong, all - mighty.
  ये वे लोग है जो अपने घरों से नाहक़ निकाले गए, केवल इसलिए कि वे कहते है कि" हमारा रब अल्लाह है ।" यदि अल्लाह लोगों को एक - दूसरे के द्वारा हटाता न रहता तो मठ और गिरजा और यहूदी प्रार्थना भवन और मस्जिदें, जिनमें अल्लाह का अधिक नाम लिया जाता है, सब ढा दी जातीं । अल्लाह अवश्य उसकी सहायता करेगा, जो उसकी सहायता करेगा - निश्चय ही अल्लाह बड़ा बलवान, प्रभुत्वशाली है

• And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever.
  रहे वे लोग जिनके पलड़े हल्के हुए, तो वही है जिन्होंने अपने आपको घाटे में डाला । वे सदैव जहन्नम में रहेंगे

• And We did not do them injustice, but they were unjust to themselves, so their gods whom they called upon besides Allah did not avail them aught when the decree of your Lord came to pass ; and they added but to their ruin.
  और हमने किसी तरह उन पर ज़ल्म नहीं किया बल्कि उन लोगों ने आप अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया फिर जब तुम्हारे परवरदिगार का हुक्म आ पहुँचा तो न उसके वह माबूद ही काम आए जिन्हें ख़ुदा को छोड़कर पुकारा करते थें और न उन माबूदों ने हलाक करने के सिवा कुछ फायदा ही पहुँचाया बल्कि उन्हीं की परसतिश की बदौलत अज़ाब आया

• Ruin is for the deniers on that day!

• As such their associates made it attractive to the idolaters to kill their children so that they ruin them and confuse them about their religion. But had Allah willed, they would not have done so. Therefore, leave them to their false inventions.
