• And they ask you the decree concerning menstruation ; say, “ It is an impurity, so stay away from women at such times, and do not cohabit with them until they have cleansed themselves ; so when they have cleansed themselves, cohabit with them the way Allah has determined for you” ; indeed Allah loves those who repent profusely, and loves those who keep clean.
  और वे तुमसे मासिक - धर्म के विषय में पूछते है । कहो," वह एक तकलीफ़ और गन्दगी की चीज़ है । अतः मासिक - धर्म के दिनों में स्त्रियों से अलग रहो और उनके पास न जाओ, जबतक कि वे पाक - साफ़ न हो जाएँ । फिर जब वे भली - भाँति पाक - साफ़ हो जाए, तो जिस प्रकार अल्लाह ने तुम्हें बताया है, उनके पास आओ । निस्संदेह अल्लाह बहुत तौबा करनेवालों को पसन्द करता है और वह उन्हें पसन्द करता है जो स्वच्छता को पसन्द करते है

  रजोदर्शन का सम्बन्ध पहले मासिक धर्म का आरंभ होना है ।

  और वे तुमसे मासिक - धर्म के विषय में पूछते है । कहो," वह एक तकलीफ़ और गन्दगी की चीज़ है । अतः मासिक - धर्म के दिनों में स्त्रियों से अलग रहो और उनके पास न जाओ, जबतक कि वे पाक - साफ़ न हो जाएँ । फिर जब वे भली - भाँति पाक - साफ़ हो जाए, तो जिस प्रकार अल्लाह ने तुम्हें बताया है, उनके पास आओ । निस्संदेह अल्लाह बहुत तौबा करनेवालों को पसन्द करता है और वह उन्हें पसन्द करता है जो स्वच्छता को पसन्द करते है

• As for your women who have lost hope of menstruation, and in case you have a doubt, the prescribed period for them is three months, as also for those who have not menstruated yet. As for those who are pregnant, their prescribed period is until the delivery of the child. God will make things easy for him who is mindful of God.
  और तुम्हारी स्त्रियों में से जो मासिक धर्म से निराश हो चुकी हों, यदि तुम्हें संदेह हो तो उनकी इद्दत तीन मास है और इसी प्रकार उनकी भी जो अभी रजस्वला नहीं हुई । और जो गर्भवती स्त्रियाँ हो उनकी इद्दत उनके शिशु - प्रसव तक है । जो कोई अल्लाह का डर रखेगा उसके मामले में वह आसानी पैदा कर देगा

• They ask you about menstruation. Tell them:" This is a period of stress. So keep away from women in this state till they are relieved of it. When they are free of it, you may go to them as God has enjoined. For God loves those who seek pardon, and those who are clean."

• And they ask you about menstruation. Say," It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you. Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves."

• And for those of your women who have no hope of menstruation, if you doubt, the appointed period is three months – and also for those who have not yet had menstruation ; and the appointed period for the pregnant women is up to the time they deliver their burden ; and whoever fears Allah – Allah will create ease for him in his affairs.
  और तुम्हारी स्त्रियों में से जो मासिक धर्म से निराश हो चुकी हों, यदि तुम्हें संदेह हो तो उनकी इद्दत तीन मास है और इसी प्रकार उनकी भी जो अभी रजस्वला नहीं हुई । और जो गर्भवती स्त्रियाँ हो उनकी इद्दत उनके शिशु - प्रसव तक है । जो कोई अल्लाह का डर रखेगा उसके मामले में वह आसानी पैदा कर देगा
