  उसका कर्तव्य संयत जीवन बिताना, धरती को अपनी शय्या बनाना, वेद तथा धर्मशास्त्र और न्याय के संबंध से उसके भाष्य का अध्ययन आरंभ करना है और यह सब उसे उसका गुरु सिखाता है जिसकी वह दिन - रात सेवा करता है ।
