Narendra Modi

Narendra Damodardas Modi was born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat India. His present age is 68years.

He started his journey by becoming a" Chai wala" but due to his hardwork and efforts he become the CHIEF MINISTER of Gujarat from 2001 - 2014, and the member of Parliament for Varanasi. He is a member of (BJP) and of the RASHTRIYA SWAYAMSEVAK SANGHa Hindu Nationalist volunteer organisation.

Narendra Modi is the 14th Prime Minister of India. He is the only and first Prime Minister outside of the Indian National Congress to win two consecutive terms with full majority, and the second one to complete five years in office after Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Narendra Modi has centralised power by abolishing the Planning commission. He has began a high profile sanitation campaign and weakened the labour laws.

He even started many big campaigns like Swatch Bharat Abhyan, Digital India etc.

Due to his big policies and campaigns he has established India. He even launched Ujjwala scheme to provide free LPG connection to rural households. The scheme even lead to an increase in LPG consumption by 56% in 2019 and even law was passed to provide 10% reservation to Economically weaker sections.

He was again elected as PRIME MINISTER in this elections.

Even the funds dedicated to poverty reduction programmes and social welfare measures was greatly decreased by the Modi administration.

The budgetary allocation for the SARVA SIKSHA ABHIYAN, Or the education for all programme declined by 22%.

His government also lowered corporate taxes, abolished wealth taxes, increased sales taxes and even reduced custom duties on gold and jewellery. In October 2014, the modi government again regulated diesel prices.

Even in September 2014 , Modi introduced the Make in India initiative to encourage foreign companies to manufacture products in India with the aim of turning the country into a global manufacturing hub.

Even the demonetisation of November 2016 goes down in history as the day of an intensely debated economic policy intervention of the Indian State. With abolition of the legal tender status of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, about 86% of the currency in circulation stood withdrawn from the economy.

He even put GST in India which is an indirect tax imposed in India on the supply of goods and services. It is a comprehensive multistage, destination based tax. It has subsumed almost all the indirect taxes.

Even his speeches motivate the youth to do something for our nation. Even nowadays as we visit different countries then the people mainly started knowing us from the person name call Modi and even most of the countries have become the friend of India due to Narendra Modi.
