You've had a long tiring day at the office, so much so that you feel like crashing yourself to the bed as soon as you get home! At least the work pressure's off! Phew! "Oh no,your car's flat!" Damn! Whatchya gonna do?! That's right, you opt CABS!

It's funny how the cabs have become integral part of our lives during emergency situations like this and god's not on your side!Today let's have a look at the evolution of the cabs!

The world's first automobile taxi was built by Gottlieb Dailmer in 1897 with the inclusion of taxi metre to calculate the fare!

Since the inception of mankind the necessity of cabs have been very significant yet it's funny how they did not come into existence until the end of 19th century. Cabs have had a lot of changes since its inception

In India however, the cabs are slightly different, there's a special vehicle called 'Auto- rickshaw', fondly known as 'Tuk Tuk' among our beloved foreign tourists! The follow the same rule as others but are extrely popular among tourists,since it's only found in middle east Asia

Being a driver of a cab in the city of London is no piece of cake! They've had to have enough knowledge about each and every corner of London, in fact they can't call themselves as 'Cab Drivers' unless they have the perfect training for 3 years and also having written the driver's examination!

As the centuries passed by, the cabs took some digital turns! People had started the Prepaid Cabs,so that the driver's wouldn't cheat on their customers,The idea was simple, Register yourself and fix the fare for the destination you're going, this grew very popular among the tourists as they were the ones who were used for the extortion! But the evolution just doesn't end there

In the mid 2007's Online cabs came into existence, Popular Online Cab companies rose to fame such as Ola,Uber etc..., and by this, there were clear competition and rivalries between normal cabs and online cabs!

And then further more modifications were done by 2015's, so far only Car cabs were used as an online cab material, later Auto rickshaw jumped into the Online world as well! 'Jugnoo' an online booking auto services came into existence and grew extremely popular for its cheaper fares

And then Bike and motorcycle cabs came into existence in 2016's! 'Rapido' an online motorcycle cab service came into existence! Although all had the similar concept, the word 'Cab' was spread like wildfire in all the other automobiles in no time!

Irony is that there were no cabs up until the late 19th century, and we're at the early 21st century and look at the innovations that's been done over the years in the field! No wonder, humankind can act faster if the things are of the most necessary to him!
