Motivation is a process of stimulating people to accomplish desired goals. Motivation does not always means to motivate others. Everyone should be in a habit to be self motivated. The aim of motivation is to influence the behavior for better performance and achieving desired results. Therefore, here are four things which are really significant to keep oneself motivated:

1.Inculcate the spirit of optimism:

If one always looks at the brighter side of things, one may feel that he can experience more positive events in life than others, find oneself less stressed, and even enjoy greater health benefits. Thus being optimistic bodes well for the future.

2.Reward yourself:

Reward are ubiquitous. They serve as incentives for personal accomplishments and are widely recommended to increase personal motivation. Rewarding oneself should not be confused with procrastination. Rewarding oneself is when you have completed a goal rather than hindering you from completing something.

3.Breaks:

Breaks can help to keep our goals in spotlight. Breaks prevent decision fatigue. It restores motivation for long term goals, it also increases productivity and creativity, and a creative mind always yields better results. Some people think that taking breaks looses productivity, but the fact is one becomes far less productive with continuous working schedule. Therefore, a small diversion once an hour or so can actually help our brain to perform better.

4.To-do-list:

By keeping such a list one can make sure that tasks are written down all in one place so we don’t forget anything prominent and by prioritizing tasks, we plan the order in which they are to be done. After completion of each task, it should be removed from the list. By doing so, one feels motivated in a way that not much is left to be done. This keeps the day well planned and keeps us motivated throughout the day.

Conclusion:
Motivation is something which has to come from within. People do motivate us, but ultimately it depends on us that to what extent one feels motivated and energised towards one's work.
