A Mother Behind A Cricketer's Success.

They say - "There's always a woman behind a man's success." Looks like there's a lot of truth in the mentioned phrase.

May it be in any form of life , success is important. It defines one's purpose in life. What is important inorder to achieve success is the amount of hardwork one puts in. The hardwork , dedication and the effort one puts in is what matters , to be successful , to taste success.

Talking about all the factors that matter , one of those crucial factors or the backbone for an individual's success is "SUPPORT."

Support has always been necessary for a person to achieve what ever he or she wants. Support acts as the backbone in times of need. When an individual is emotionally and mentally down.

Talking about support , one such form of unconditional support that mankind has been blessed with , in it's human form is the Mother.

A woman becomes a mother when she gives birth to a child. A different journey begins from there. A journey which includes responsibility , love , affection. This is how the journey of motherhood begins. This is what the Journey is all about.

Speaking in context of a sportsman , a mother plays a very crucial role in a sportsman's road to success. Every sport is competitive. It demands competition. Lack of competition leads to the sport being incomplete.

When it comes to cricket , competition is at it's best. None of the teams would settle for a loss. None of them would accept defeat.

But , a sport is all about winning and losing. It's all a part of the game. Support is needed when a sportsman ends up losing. Ends up on the other side.

Support is something which a sportsman needs all through. It motivates the sportsman to do better. To learn from their mistakes.

When it comes to support , There's no one that does it better than a mother.
In return all they get is their child's success. All of us would agree that they deserve way better than this.

So , in return to their unmatched sacrifices , the cricket faternity had done something special for the mother's.

It was on the occasion of Mother's day , that the Indian Cricket team decided to Don the names of their mother's on the Jersey's which was a heartwarming gesture towards the mothers , for the sacrifices they've done. It's usually their name that's there behind , but on this special occasion it was the name of their mother's.

India was taking on New Zealand back then in 2016 when Team India decided to Don the Jersey's with their mother's name on it.

This was the first time when a team had their mother's name on their jersey in the history of the game.

This heartwarming gesture was brought back by the Rajshahi Kings , which is one of the teams playing the BPL.( Bangladesh Premier League).
