The Most Precious Thing

The most precious thing in this world is not money or jewelry but time because it never waits for anyone. Time flies very fast and with the wink of an eye, we will become old. It is said that the time which is gone and the words which are said can never be taken back. Time is not something which we can buy with money. In this small world, we have time for nothing. We are always busily engaged in some type of business. Time is a powerful tool, if used properly it will benefit us and if wasted it will make us regret. It is like a sharp sword, so never play with it. To know the value of a minute, ask a person who has lost a race. To know the value of a second, ask someone who has survived an accident. To know about the value of an hour, ask someone who missed a bus. To know about the value of a month, ask a mother who is pregnant. To know the value of a year, ask someone who has failed in an exam.

Everything has its limits and limitations. But time will not consider anyone nor will have any partiality. We always waste our time and regret it later. Mostly we complain about the time which we did not get, but are we using the time efficiently which is provided to us? There are people waiting to spend their time with others. But no one has time; everybody is busy running for something which we will never take anywhere. One day has 24 hours and it is equal for everyone. So how can someone do the same work completed, when you cannot? The answer is simple because you are not using time efficiently and is not working hard. Only hard working people can make fruitful results of the time.

Sometimes we don’t have anything to do and we try to pass time using some hobbies. At that time we may feel like ages. When we are free and have nothing to do we feel bored and like hell. That is why old people ask us to spend our time with them. You will only know their difficulty if we are at their state. Ask a girl whose marriage is fixed and getting ready to be married next week. Time will feel like years and ages for her. So in different situations, time plays varied roles at different people. It is really something that we should look into seriously.
