The simple answer to this question in my dictionary would always be a yes yes!
There are plenty of reasons why dogs are good pets, it’s not just not about the loyalty factor or how active they are, Dog also helps in improving our mental and physical health by improving our fitness levels (Remember the regular walks which we do with them, the sense of emotional wellbeing and the unconditional love which they give by just being around.

Now, let’s get back to I have always been that person who has been fond of dogs than any other animals and I have my own pretty list to believe that they’re always so adorable. Just give a thought of it, coming home from a bad day and you get that furry love waiting right at the door wagging his tail and trying to make you smile by his unsaid words. That feeling can be relatable for most of the pets by being the owner of a dog or in my words “pet parent” gets way too different!

The answer it’s not a fairly simple process to adopt a Stray Dog but adopting or rescuing one can lead to preventing their generations to stray again.

There are many animals in shelters who also need the home and we assume that most people do not consider the possibility of bringing a dog home from their travels. It seems dismaying and complex or one assumes the dog has rabies but in actuality, those fears are not true in most cases.

There’s one such case of Dharamshala where Tiny (a month old pup) couldn’t get out of Rachelle’s mind. She was a student of Environmental science and voluntarily took part in creating pages to make Tiny ready to get adopted, she knew she couldn’t take him to Seattle when her works end here. When she flew back, she kept on chasing people to adopt Tiny but up to no satisfaction. Beating all odds she came back took Tiny and took him to where his new home belong, Seattle. There are many cases where people from abroad have started adopting strays, it’s us who need to start thinking on the same track!

Reasons why we should adopt a Stray Dog today:

•Dogs are not objects of Entertainment, they’re the friends you make so adopt a Stray and the attachment they will give you is beyond compare.

•You would never ever want a foreign breed to come to India and suffer so why not a Stray instead?
•By picking to adopt a homeless dog, you’re taking a stand against cruelty to animals by money breeders.

•Street dogs are well-socialised so their anxiety on meeting new people day to day is negligible.
•So many dogs we meet have likely never seen a doctor. They walk around limping with sores, infections and desperately need to seek medical care. A single visit can often cure most of these issues and put them on a path towards health.

•After spending a lifetime searching for food, there are likely to be more obedient and learn quickly.

•You would definitely be saving a life by adopting them because many strays die due to starvation, cold or diseases.

In the world today, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog. They definitely make those loyal moments of the human companion for a lifetime!
