Aston University provides a Mphil and PhD in the fields of English Language, Applied linguistics , Modern Languages, and Translational Studies, Politics and International Relations and Sociology and Policy. One can start with their postgraduate and then continue further for MPhil or Phd.

Availability and fees

They have upto two fully funded PhD scholarships (only for UK) , for any research area as long as it is covered by the institute. The Scholarships are for full time study only. But they come with a condition that full scholarship is available to Only UK students and the international students will have to pay a difference between Home and International fees. And the living expenses will not be covered.

Eligibility criteria

The successful applicant should have a first class or a good upper second classhonours degreeor equivalent qualification in the desired areas.
