Samsung M40 has officially been launched in India after a series of teasers and rumors. The new Galaxy M-series phone is the best version of their series so far, the phone is set to go on sale starting June 18 with a price tag of Rs. 19,990. Key highlights of the Samsung M40 include a full-HD+ Infinity-O Display within such price range, triple rear camera setup, and octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC.
In the m series segment, Samsung m 40 is the 1st model to have screen sound technology, means no need for sound grill, sound will come through the screen itself.
Main features-
The Samsung Galaxy M40 currently runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI, itcomes with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 480 nits of brightness.
Under the hood, for the 1st time in m series the company has decided to use a snapdragon processor, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, paired with Adreno 612 GPU and 6GB of RAM.
In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a triple rear camera setup that comes with a 32-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 lens along with a 5-megapixel depth sensor lence and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
The phone also supports video features such as 4K recording, Slo-mo, and Hyperlapse. For selfies, M 40 comes with a 16-megapixel sensor at the front.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has 128GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). The sim tray is hybrid, so you have to choose wisely.
One interesting thing that came up is that this model of M- series does not have a USB jack, it is only powered by a USB Type-C port. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back which is pretty fast.
Samsung has provided a 3,500mAh battery, the box comes with a built-in 15W fast charging technology. The phone has 7.9mm of thickness and 168 grams of weight.
On an overall bases this model is going to give tough competition to other mid-range brands, the introduction of snapdragon will boost up the sales and an infinity o display at suck a low price is going to give tough competition.
