 PROS:

  1. With a high RAM, Redmi 7 offers effortless multitasking. (With an impressive processing speed of 1.8 GHz, Redmi 7 executes the instructions and tasks faster.)

  2. As Redmi 7 operates on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, this phone seamlessly executes 8 instructions at a time!

  3. The 6.26-inch screen is not only big and stylish but also offers you more space to work on your phone. Today mobile phones are used for doing a lot of personal and even office-based work. Hence a large screen size is beneficial.

CONS:

  1. Redmi 7 has a very high SAR value.

  2. It gets heated up easily

(SAR details of Redmi 7:

Head SAR: 1.031 W/kg

Body SAR: 0.573 W/kg (at a distance of 15 mm)

Note:

SAR limit per 1 g of human body tissue (fixed by the Government of India) = 1.6 W/kg

The full form of SAR is - Specific Absorption Rate.

SAR is a measure of the quantity of radiation emitted by an electronic device.)

Personal experience

When I use my phone for a prolonged period (say 20-30 minutes), I feel drowsy and fatigued, maybe because of the abnormally high SAR value of my phone. The phone gets heated up on using it continuously!

On the other hand, performance-wise, Redmi 7 is excellent!!

My rating - 2 stars (out of 5)

For you

Mobile phone radiation adversely affects health. If you are a health-conscious person, I will not recommend this phone.

If you are a person who wants a well-performing phone within 8,000 INR, then go for Redmi 7.
