1. Keep more cash and less plastic money

You won’t get malls and high-class shopping centers in the mountains, there is also a possibility of not having the internet. The locals will mostly prefer cash. So it's better to have more cash than keeping plastic money. Keep cash in multiple pockets.

2. Hire a guide for trekking

If your trip includes trekking, you must go with a guide, it's risky to go on a trek you have never been before, the guide will help you explore more things on your trek.

3. Stop and breath, don’t rush on the trek

It's better to complete a trek late rather than rushing and risking your health, many people push their limits on the trek and feel sick coming down, it's very risky if you are doing so.

4. Keep the hard and soft copy of essential documents with you

Documents such as Aadhar card, driving license,etc are required while on spot hotel bookings, clearances and booking risky adventure sports. Keep your documents on-line and as a hardcopy.

Carry all the necessary medicines, check the expiry and carry that every time. It would be beneficial if you’ll carry knee and ankle caps with you.

There will be times your stuff may get wet, or you may require something to throw waste or garbage. It advisable to carry plastic/polythene bags

9. Check your shoes

Wear shoes with a good grip, because most trails are a mix of rock and dirt. In rain it may make conditions worse, so always keep a check on your shoe’s conditions. Over the ankle hiking boots can offer extra support to your feet as it will reduce the chances of ankle sprain.

10. Don’t run in the forest area without guide permission

Many side forests on your trek or during your route may have wild animals and may attract you, don’t just go there for the sake of photos and nature love. Nature’s deadliest animals way wait for you. Snakes, wild dogs, bears are common in those forest arear. Always take permission from the guide and go there. Never go on your own.
