Right To Criticize - A Responsibility

Indeed, critics play a key role in setting the parameters in every sector. Often, we are unaware of their role and presume it is limited to pointing flaws. But it is far beyond that. One's awareness, knowledge and sense of responsibility is important for analysis. Analysis is the real criticism.

In humanities, analysis is extremely crucial.e.g. Literature requires analysis of plots, Economics and Political science demands application of theories along with the knowledge of the current scenario from various perspectives in order to bring out the solutions of the problems. In such cases, simply finding errors won't help. Also, what matters is what one seeks from the situations - solutions or boast of the technical knowledge by simply pointing irrelevant errors . One needs to criticize by keeping a wholistic perspective, incorporating various dimensions into the analysis.

A sense of responsibilty is demanded from both sides.i.e the critc and the one who is criticised. If the former needs to act with a sense of responsibilty than latter needs to work on it's flexibilty, which is required to make the necessary changes.

It is necessary to realise the importance of criticism. It churns out the essence of a composition.
Eventually, what matters is the result of criticism i.e the change.

Dwelling into the relevance of criticism in our daily lives.

Every change around us is a result of criticism, happened at a point of time or over a period of time.

The revolutions.
The fundamental rights.

Formation of various religions have a precontextual background of change from existing ones due to the various flaws in it's ideologies and practices.

Governments.

Think tanks.

The above stated examples, illustrate how criticism leads to creation if dealt with a sense of responsibilty and pragmatism.

It is required to create a constructive criticism.

One needs to understand that the freedom to express reasoned criticism that is shocking for some, and disturbing for others, is a prerequisite for a free life.

One's perspective towards criticism is a prerequisite of growth whether one is criticised or being criticised. In the light of this, let's understand the purpose of criticism and work towards building finer versions of everything by incorporating an analytical perspective that helps us to build things cohesively. Our right to criticism needs to be exercised with a sense of responsibilty and mindfulness ensuring the presence of right intentions and purpose behind our actions. At the end of the day, analysis is the real criticsim.
