Controlled Mind is a Kalpavriksha- A Wishing Tree

It is rightly quoted by Swami Vivekananda,“The external ear is but the instrument for carrying the vibration. Yet, that is not sufficient. Let's Suppose the clock strikes, yet you do not hear it. The sound is there, the ear is there, the pulsations in the air are there, and yet you do not hear it. What is wanting?

The mind is not there”

Mankind is gifted with the most powerful gift The INCREDIBLE MIND. Our mind is the most extraordinary garden we possess. If one cares for it and nurtures it the correct way, it will blossom far beyond their expectations.

The Mind is the carrier, it has to carry the sensation forward and present to the intellect- the brain. The Brain is the apartment in which the mind resides. The Mind thus acts as a filter and once if it is uncontrolled and unguided it can drag us down forever, rend us, kill us BUT the controlled mind can make us achieve the impossible and do wonders.

It's said it can a wonderful servant and a terrible master.

THE CLEAR PICTURE:

The picture of the mind is very beautifully illustrated in the Bhagavad-Gita (Chapter 3, Verse 43) with the help of the model of a chariot:
Imagine a chariot, which has five horses pulling it and the horses have reins in their mouths. The rein is held by a charioteer. There is a passenger sitting at the back of the chariot.

Ideally, the passenger should instruct the charioteer, who should then control the reins and guide all the horses in the proper direction. However, if the passenger has gone to sleep, then horses are holding sway.

In this analogy, the chariot is our body, the horses are our five senses, the reins in the mouth of the horses is the mind, the charioteer is the intellect, and the passenger seated behind is the soul residing in us. The senses (horses) desire worldly pleasures. The mind (reins) is not putting restraints on these senses(horses). As the intellect (charioteer) doesn't receive any instructions, it gets driven by the pull of the reins (mind).

Thus, in the material bounded state, the senses decide the direction and not the soul. The direction by our senses takes us in the wrong way.

The mind is so powerful that it can imagine anything anywhere. It can picture any object, place, person, etc. It can do it even without it seeing it in actual- that is what we call imagination. In mind, everything begins.

"First the mind perceives and then the body achieves"

HOW CAN WE CONTROL OUR MIND?-The mind is described as flicking and is unstable by nature. It is like prism where thoughts strike again and again and when uncontrolled these negative thoughts can even spoil the beauty of the prism.

It is truly an extraordinary garden, but like a garden which gives fresh air and flowers only when it is cultivated properly, the mind does the extraordinary only when it is developed well. Mind management is life management.
If we let the weeds take root, toxic waste, daily’s worry, anxiety, the fretting over the past, the brooding over the future, fear, and hatred to attack, the beautiful garden is lost. Sadly, today there are many people lost in bad and life-killing activities such as smoking, drinking, rape, murder, etc, losing their control over the mind. Such people are nothing but puppets of their own uncontrolled mind.

  • Say bye to worries: Worries are toxin for the mind just like the weeds in the garden. 95% of our thoughts on a day are the same as the ones we thought the day before which leads to exponential effects of worries on the mind. Build up a positive attitude towards life and feed the mind with positive thoughts.

Blueprinting and Envisioning

Things are always created twice: first in the workshop of the mind and then, and only then, in reality. The mind works through pictures. Pictures affect your self-image and your self-image affects the way you feel, act and achieve. When we are inspired by some great purpose, all of our thoughts break their bonds, the mind transcends limitations, our consciousness expands in every direction and we find ourselves in a new, great and wonderful world.

We must dream, we must picture our victory. This is one of the best ways to utilize our minds to the fullest. This keeps us busy and leads our illusion we created in minds to become a wonderful reality.Dormant forces, faculties, and talents become alive and we discover us to be a greater person than we ever dreamed of.

Heart of Rose technique:

Concentration is at the root of mental mastery. There is a technique:Stare at the center of the rose, feel and notice its beauty, fragrance, and its heart (the core). Train the mind to focus on what we want it to be focused on. Concentration helps our mind not to wander here and there.- Source: The Monk who sold his Ferrari- by Robin Sharma.

Opposition Thinking:

Mind can only hold one thought at any one time.

  • Step One: Become aware of uninspiring thoughts

  • Step Two: Appreciate once and for all that just as easily as we allowed those gloomy thoughts to enter, we can replace them with cheerful ones.

Keep the mind healthy:

Environment plays a major role in mental development. Be surrounded by positive people. Keep learning and feeding. Eat healthy, sleep well and exercise.

Organize all the dimensions:

We must organize all the dimensions- body, mind, energy and emotions. One must focus all these in that one positive thought we wish to accomplish, and then those streams of positive thoughts would manifest into great phenomenal things. Through education and experience, one can control their emotions. We must respond and not react in any situation.

Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality- Earl Nightingale

Every human being is seeking pleasant surrounding inside as well as outside and the power of making the impossible possible. When one accepts the fact that this incredible power lies within all of us, and works towards it, one completes oneself. By accessing that dimension by peeping inward rather than worldly pleasures, one can transform himself from just a piece of the creator to the creator himself.

The purpose of Mankind is to do real magic through this Controlled Mind. To do something innovative, to make the impossible possible!
