"A mind who travels can never stay the same, it always blooms"

It's probably one of the most realistic line i've ever heard about travelling. Given the enchanting beauty of our country,I would not want anyoneto stay deprived of it .Fortunately, by the end of this month we are planning a trip, so i would like to go down the memory lane and describe the experience of my last summer which was unquestionably alluring. We explored parts of Maharashtra, where you can experience nature, infrastructure, religion, cultural diversity and what not. Here, are glimpses of what i experienced and the reasons why you should visit these places yourself and live it to the fullest.

TRIMBAKESHWAR

Trimbakeshwar is about 26-28 km from Nashik district in Maharashtra. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the 12 jyotirlingas. The ambiance is so soothing and the view cannot be verbally defined. Also, in Trimbakeshwar you can find the origin of the river Godavari. The local people are so polite and helpful. You can definetly plan a trek, feel the holy bliss, experiance various festivals in trimbakeshwar. (beware of the monkeys though! ;) )

Average expenditure (Per person) - 4000 INR

NASHIK

Nashik is situated about 190 kms from the state capital Mumbai. Nashik is also the fourth largest city in Maharashtra. But enough with the facts, why one should plan a visit to Nashik? Well if you are keen in Historical monuments then you should visit the city, you can find various ancient caves ,temples etc oh and also Do you know that as perRamayana, Nashik is the location on the banks of Godavari wherelaxman, by the wish of Lord Rama, cut the nose ofShurpnakha and thus this city was named as "Nashik"!!!

Average Expenditure (Per Person)- 7000 INR

SHIRDI

The purity of the holy place and the feel it gives you cannot be defined in words. According to available sources Shirdi is believed to be the home of Shri Sai Baba. Shirdi is the best place to visit this summer if you are low on budget. But i can promise you a blissful experience.

Average expenditure (Per person)- 3000 INR

SHANI SHIGNAPUR

Shani shingnapur is situated about 35 km from Ahmadnagar city. This is yet another holy place and is considered to be the birth place of God associated with Saturn or Shani Dev Ji. Here, you can find the very famous temple of Shani Dev. There are various riddles asccociated with the townwhich you should check out. I am sure they will interest you.

Average expenditure (Per Person) - 2000 INR

P.S- Average expenditure is purely calculated upon my understanding and these are not rigid figures.
