Women is a story, an untold one. A quiet one. A story of silence. A story hiding pain yet reflecting the tears of pain in every sentence.

Right from being a sister, growing up as daughter, leaving her cherished home to become a wife & accepting all other bonds that come along. To being a mother after happily bearing 9 months of pain. To being an ignored elderly mother-in-law, & ultimately ending up as a content grandmother. All these forms of women depict so much strength yet there are untold stories a women holds within her heart. Yet she chooses to bolt the doors of her heart with a smile on her face.

When she is born, she is the light of the home. As she becomes a sister, she starts acknowledging the responsibilities of taking care of her family with bliss enlightening her face. She sacrifices for her siblings. She holds herself together, at every point of life.

Adoring her home, yet growing up, she knows that what she calls home won't be her eternal abode. She perceives herself as someone with many homes yet homeless.

She imagines to be her best version even after getting married. She smiles while tears of leaving her childhood home overwhelm her terribly. Another story of silence she buries in her heart.

After marriage, she misses being a child, being in her home, yet still smiles at the new beginnings awaiting her. A wife now, & a responsible daughter-in-law. She glows with grace & hides the homesickness within. Her heart is too big & thus seeks home in her new home.

A mother now, after 9 months of pain. A part of her she loses for her children. Thinks twice, once for her family, then for herself.

Ages, & then comes a new phase of homelessness for her. Her children get busy with their lives & she feels homeless for their time & love.

A mother-in-law now, she is no more a priority. She's even seen as someone who couldn't wish well.

Ultimately, a grandmother, she tries to find bits of her childhood again to peacefully bid a goodbye to her life, for once & all.
