TILL WHEN WILL THE TRUTH BE SUPPRESSED UNDER THESE LOUD VOICES?
"When questions were met by silence or loud voices instead of giving a justifiable answer"
In the dim lighted room filled with different parties, silence broke as the press correspondents bombarded the room with questions flying from every side.
Among the hustle bustle of camera flashes, the first question was addressed to the Samhaj Wadi party representative, Akhilesh Yadav on his father's Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav controversial comment, on the justification he gave to the rapists for their remorseless crime and how he should condemn for his actions. The minister statement "mere baap ki galti ke liye mera gala kyo pakaad rahe" initiated a turmoil among the opposition and he ended up apologising for his father's words.
When Shashi Tharoor was brought under the flashlight on his statement on teen talaq bill being "misconceived" and his opinions that whether teen talaq is against women welfare to which he justified himself by calling for amendments. The press was met by a mute reply when asked about the suggestive amendments which was reciprocated with sarcastic smiles by the reporters .
The highlight was the questions which were served before Kanhaiya Kumar, the leader of All India Student Federation on his speeches and his controversial lines
"Bharat tere tukre ho
Inshallah inshallah"
And how he is disrespecting the parliament and are making anti-national comments. To divert the acquisition, he asked for the proofs from the correspondents and completely shunned that he made such comments with a smirk on his face while the reporters were pressing on the authenticity of his comments.
The questions stirred commotion in the house. as every party started shouting their slogans to shut down the other parties oppositions.
The session ended with a few unanswered questions ,few slyly diverted questions and few loud answers just to put a black cover over the atrocities and unjustifiable statements made by them.
As the correspondents moved out with a sarcastic smile on their face among the flashlights the session ended with many unsatisfactorily answered questions but the true face of Indian politics was brought before the flashlights.
