Family Far From Home

A person in his life goes through many stages like infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age. The journey of a life starts with a family followed by a school. Schooling is a very important phase in one's life as it covers two stages of life i.e. childhood and adolescence.

From the first day of school, a child experiences new things and come to know the realities of the world. Spending 17-18 years of their life in school it becomes their second home. School life is a preparatory stage for entering public life.

School is a meeting place of students and teachers. From here, a student learns how to adjust himself with the society at later part of life.

It is the school from where they learn the morals of the life, be it from their morning assembly, teachers and coursework. It widens the out­look of students. Virtues such as perseverance, sincerity, truthfulness, tolerance, discipline and obedience developed in pupils. School provides opportunity to the students to be disciplined. They show discipline in class room, play ground, hostel, and library at other places. They learn how to maintain patience according to the situation and how to deal with it in various circumstances.

School life not only improve the life of students but also sets the base for their upcoming years. They gather a lot of knowledge about the world and its scenarios. There is a saying too -

School is the temple of knowledge.

In school, all the students read in a spirit of togetherness. They forget their joys and sorrows. They read together, play together and sit together. It is the right place for the fulfillment of the youthful desires. Students take part in games and sports, drama, essay competition, song and debate competitions etc. It is in school that the students enjoy the affection of their teachers.

Teachers act as the guides and guardians to guide them on the right path. They are like second mother who teaches them all moral values and good manners.

It is said that synonym for school life is friendship. It plays an important role in social development as when we make friends we don’t bother about their caste or religion it is based on our genuine emotions. It is the friend who helps us with the various problems we face in our school life and we also share all our personal life with them as after certain time they become our family far from the house.

When school life comes to an end and we move towards our further life what is left is nothing but the memories and the foundations that we have acquired over a period of time. Giving nicknames and calling teachers with those name would be fun. After the completion of schooling, we promise our friends to be in touch but after a certain period of time, it becomes very difficult to be connected as all of us moves in different directions of life. All that is left is just an experience to cherish for the lifetime.

School life is the best. For sure may be today students are not able to realise but the school is the only place in our life where we spend 17-18 years of our life. The school buildings, benches, classroom, teachers have seen us growing. They have seen us developing from a toddler to a teenager. They have seen the most vital phase of our life. These buildings will be the lifelong witness of our smile, our innocence, our laugh, our cries, our naughtiness and most importantly our happiness and joy as a child and as student. A school is worth to be loved.
