Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which disturbed thought processes, strange perceptions, unusual emotional states, and motor abnormalities occur in an individual.

As a result it is a very severe mental disorder.

Symptoms of the same are grouped in three categories:-

  • 1) Positive:-in which an individual shows excess of every psychological capability like excess thoughts or behaviour etc.

  • 2) Negative:-in which an individual shows deficits of every psychological capability like deficits thoughts or behaviour etc.

  • 3) Psychomotor:-in which an individual shows weird gestures and odd grimaces etc.

Positive symptoms includes delusions in human mind that they are getting spied etc. these are mainly wrong beliefs.

A human suffering from the same face difficulty in communication.

At the same time people also suffer from hallucinations either auditory or any other kind like olfactory.

Where the opposite of same happens if an individual is suffering from negative symptoms.

He or she may suffer from poverty of speech or may show less emotion or even no emotions at all.

In psychomotor symptoms individual stay motion less for a long period of time or any other bizarre positions.

Schizophrenia isn’t of a single type but of many like paranoid residual or catatonic etc.

Each of them shows a certain set of symptoms.

Where the most interesting fact about this disorder is that sometimes people who claim to be possessed are sometimes so mentally broken that they hallucinate and show a certain set of symptoms. Which are mostly shown by a victim which is possessed example a female child whose father is dead and he was very attached to his father as well naturally it’s a traumatic experience which will happen to make a child sometimes hallucinate things as desire to meet his father again because a child never know what death is till his or her mature enough mental stage.

Schizophrenia can be found in an individual if he or she gets through a traumatic experience or abuse of influenza in his or her mother’s womb of father’s genetical problems etc.

But there is not a single disorder which ant be cured if a person is determined to get over it antipsychotic atypical drugs like Respridone can cure Schizophrenia to an extent in addition to therapies like behavioural or cognitive which can help in various ways but the main thing always done by the victims mind all these can only help can’t cure the antipsychotic drugs always have some side effects which has to be tackled.

But in conclusion Schizophrenia is a very interesting disorder as many of the human capability are shown by its symptoms.
