Dog's love: Only Requited Love of our Times.

Recently, I saw the movie Marley and Me. I know some of you might think that it's pretty late for me to see it now, but better late than never, right? It's an amazing movie that not only shows how beautiful and natural love can be, but how attachments and connections are made. It makes you laugh, smile and even cry. All emotions packed in one.

Dog person or a cat person? I'm sure most of the people start a convo of getting acquainted with this question. And more than 70% - 80% (It's a guess), it works. But, for me it never did.

I'm neither of the two. Cats make me feel to not be around them although I've to be around one when I go to my grandparents' house and Dogs scare the shit out of me.

I won't say that miraculously I'm a dog person now or I'd like a pet dog just after watching the movie but I won't deny the fact that I'd definitely like the thought of having one.

The way they whelp, hop, lick, jump and do all that crazy stuff makes run away and not bother a look again. But, then I watched this movie. The world's craziest and worst dog Marley made me feel that Dog's love is the only love that is required to it's fullest.

In an ambience full of just people, people who are always competing, complaining, fighting, fidgeting with life, there's this one living being you'll always look forward to hugging and kiss after a long stressful day. It won't be your family or a lover but a dog whose wriggling his tail impatiently waiting for you.

It loves you just for who you are and not for what people want you to be. It loves you despite the days when you neglect it coz you were unwell. It loves you when everyone else has abandoned you. It loves you because one fine day you gave him a home.

Love is magic, but magic is an illusion.

Illusion everyone wants to be a Part Of.

Balancing the dilemma on the bridge of Requited or Unrequited Love, your pet dog's love and care for you is the most real and beautiful feeling you'll find.

I can vouch on that even if I don't have one, for I've seen how a friend of mine gets admired even from stray dogs, she fed once. Animals we call them, but they are capable of loving you more than any normal human can. Love works in mysterious ways. It depends on you how you welcome and cherish it.

They are not at all demanding or selfish. All they want is your undivided attention and a little peice of your heart. Rest assured, they are the best beings to be with.
