Ever heard of how people catch monkeys in Africa? They place banana in the bottom of a narrow-necked jar. When a monkey comes upon the jar, it would put its hand inside to grab banana. of course, with the banana in hand it can’t pull it’s hand out, and remains struck with the jar on its arm, making it fairly easy for the people to catch monkey. No matter what, the monkey would not let go the banana, even if the banana rotten.

when it comes to our friendship, the majority of us are not much better than the monkeys. Often we tend to cling to our friendship, something or someone and refuse to let go. We cling on to what we have – the safe, the secure, and the familiar even when we know its unhealthy and preventing us from living a better life. We settle for the status quo and believe we are boomed to living the life that others have dealt us rather than taking control of our friendship and destiny.

One of the biggest challenges is to let go the bad friendship. The only way to go beyond where we are in our life is to let go of things, people, habits and beliefs that keep us where we are instead of where we want to be.

We should not forget as long as our palms are holding on tight to friendship, people and things, we cannot be open to receive the beautiful gifts that life has to offer or the good friendship. therefore, we need to keep to stock of every single thing that holds us back and exchange those limitations for a life of limitless partialities and possibilities, a life that is more personally and professionally fulfilling and rewarding achieve this, sometimes we simply have to LET GO.
