About two months ago,a Swedish teenager with two long braids made headlines all over the world. She stood in front of the Swedish parliament with a placard in her hand, silently protesting about a major phenomenon who all have known for a long time. “Climate change and how it will affect the future of mankind.” Her protest made headlines throughout the world, making people think about the 15 year old’s concern. Who was she? Some celebrity, some starkid? No. She was a commoner just like you and me. She was Greta Thunberg : The girl who cared about Mother Earth.

Objectives of the protest
Her demands was that the Swedish government must reduce the carbon emissions due to the immense amount of heat waves and wildfires that occurred in Sweden.
She said that if the Government does not take immediate actions regarding disasters that are occurring in nature due to artificial causes, then the world country may suffer. It may become a serious problem in the future that may affect the whole world and mankind must be at stake.

Speeches
On January 2019 in a campaign at World Economic ForumGreta addressed the world leaders Davos panel by saying
“I don't want you to be hopeful,I want you to panic, I want you to feel the fear I feel everyday and I want you to act. I want you to act as you would in a crisis. I want you to act as if the house was on fire, because it is.”
From 29 to 31 March Greta visited Berlin,Germany where she spoke in front of 25,000 people near the Brandenburg Gate. She said that “ We live in a strange world where children must sacrifice their education in order to protest against the destruction of their future. Where the people who have contributed the least to this, will be the most affected ones in future.”
Just like 15 year old Greta there are hundreds of other children who fear that their lives, their future are at risk. Mankind is at risk of future climatic destruction. Mother Earth has given us with everything, now it's time for us to give her back the honor, make the future of our next generation a secured one, a healthy and and happy one.
