Not all of us have the amenity of visiting a gym daily or hiring a personal trainer to look after our fitness. Some of us don’t have the time, some don’t have the money and some, don’t just believe in the concept of gymming. But in the era of junk food that we live, which is now available at our fingertips, literally (thanks to Swiggy) it is absolutely crucial that we spend at least 30 mins daily to look into our fitness. It doesn’t have to be heavy lifting and military training, but something which gets our heart rate up and helps us achieve a fitter body (if not leaner) and a healthy mind. For all those couch potatoes, like me, who don't like to hit the gym, here is a list of exercise apps.

Walking is one of the most easiest, and the most effective exercise in losing weight and maintaining a healthy body. Doctors advise 10,000 steps to be covered daily, for completing your daily quota of workout. Don’t have a smart watch that records every step you go? Don’t worry, Pedometer has got you covered. Pedometer records the number of steps you have walked and displays them again along with the number of calories that you have burned. Once you push the Start button, all you have to do is hold your smartphone and walk, and it will continue to record even if you put it in your pocket or bag.
One of the most downloaded exercise apps, Freeletics allows users to workout hassle-free at the convenience of their homes. You can lose weight, get strong or just improve your fitness level with this app. It has hundreds of bodyweight and HIIT( High Intensity Interval Training) workouts for you to choose from, which when adapted results in a better lifestyle.
There are loads of other exercise apps to choose from, but none of it is going to work if you don’t get up and decide to make a change for yourself. This list is an attempt to remove the first stumbling block in achieving a better body, which is expenses.
