“Hey Xinmo, get up now or you will be late, mum told me to wake you up,” said Xinmo’s brother.
“hmm.. ok. wake me after five minutes...” went off Xinmo into her sleep.

Suddenly, Xinmo felt cold and she started to cuddle in her bed pulling her sheets up. Searching the sheets with her eyes closed, Xinmo found grabbing her sheets more difficult than anything that morning. It was getting frustrating, so she opened her to see her brother pulling the bed sheets away from her.

Fury was rising like a volcano bursting out lava, “You!!! Didn’t I tell you to wake me after 5 minutes!?” said Xinmo, she could spit out poison on him that instant. And to see him grinning was more of torture and irritation.

“Ahhh....!” pulling the sheets back, she laid down covering her head trying to sleep. Right at the moment, her brother shouted, “Mum...!!! She isn’t getting up, I even snatched her sheets away but she is scolding me...!” smiling like an idiot, her brother was stretching the words and trying to provoke her mum.

Well, he was successful.

“Xinmo, last warning! Do you want me to come and wake you!” yelled back her mother. She got up glaring at her brother and cursing internally said, “Just you wait. I will take revenge” and went inside the bathroom. Not her brother’s fault for waking her but that’s what sibling do?

Her amazing dream of the day before blew off. It was one of the wonderful days she had come across till date. And now, she was really pissed and after breakfast, she was literally arguing with everybody without reason. As guessed, she was now going to be late if she didn’t run at the exact minute which acted as a fuel to the fire of her anger.

Slamming the door hard, she went off striding very hardly and she reached the ground of her school.

It was summer and the ground was green with grasses growing.

“Thud!!!” fell Xinmo; walking fast on the grasses that were wet from the morning dews was not a good idea. There was a group of students 5m away from her and it was disgraceful. Though embarrassed to the point she wanted to go home, she got up confoundedly and walked past the students. When she was finally far enough from them, she felt the pain on her body with the coldness from the water drops.

All her anger and frustration wear off from the incident, and said to herself, “Well Deserved Me.” She always put the effort into being a good girl and never likes arguing with her parents which meant disrespect to them. Her teachers always said,

“You children should always respect and listen to your parents and elders. See if anything wrong happened to you.”

Today she did what she shouldn’t and got what she thought she deserved.
