Sports as a mean of entertainment or physical fitness has been present since the ages. Artifacts and sculptures suggest sport originated in China as early as 2000BC. Gymnastics appear to have been popular in China's ancient past.

Sports have been increasingly organized and regulated from time to time from the ancient Olympics up to the present century.

So, whether you are a die-hard sports fan or just don't understand what everyone gets so excited over, chances are that you have never taken the time on why athletics are so important. But there is got to be something to sports that allows making people so happy, sad, and sometimes even a bit crazy.

'Sports and its importance'
The article topic we are doing since the 5th standard.
But have you ever wondered, what it takes to be a Pro-Player we watch on tv?
What all they do to reach there, the actual cycle of struggle, is it worth a shot or not?
Athletes come from a wide variety of different backgrounds and walk of life. Some are born rich with everything they could have ever wanted, some are born middle class and then there are others who have to fight for everything to reach where they desire to.

By now you must have started thinking of the player you admire the most and here are some of the struggling life stories of the greatest players of all time.

1.Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo was born in Portugal, where his mother was a cook and his father was a gardener. His family grew up in poverty and less than ideal conditions. He grew up in the poorest area of Funchal. At the age of 9, he started playing Football but was made fun of it as his father used to clean the locker rooms to earn a living. But now whether which club you support you can not deny that CRISTIANO RONALDO is one of the greatest soccer player ever.

2.Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson is regarded as one of the hardest hitters in combat history but also had one of the hardest childhood histories in the sports background as well. Tyson was born in poverty-stricken Brooklyn, New York. When he was 2 years old his father abandoned his family and left the responsibility of his whole family on his mother. As the struggle continued they had to move to an even more dangerous neighborhood. Tyson was arrested 30 times by the time he was 13, including being involved in various armed robberies.

3.Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is currently the number one player in the world of tennis history and my favorite too. He has won countless tournaments and majors. Djovic was born in Serbia during a time of war and poverty in the country. He was raised in Belgrade during some of the worst years in that country, but he is a personality who came over the death water and has become the most promising sportsperson of this era.

4.Kassim Ouma

Kassim Ouma experienced childhood in poverty unlike anyone on the list. Ouma is a boxer and was raised in the Gulu district of Uganda. When Ouma was only five years old he was kidnapped and was forced to join the National Resistance Army. Ouma was forced to take part in the war and kill children against his will and power. But despite all these cruel hardships god inflicted his way-he had his way clear in his mind, therefore, overcoming all of it. As passion drove him on the path of light.

So all we need is to get inspired from all these Pro players who became the Riches from the Rags and not with a silver spoon in their mouth but with 'Determination' in their heart.
