Today’s whole world is becoming digitalization due to the drastic change of technology as it makes them more convenient to explore and access information about the world. So, the Government of India has also started to make their country as a digitalized by converting the knowledge oriented world into techno knowledge oriented world. In order to commence the digital system, the present government launched the program called “Digital India” on 1st July 2015. It is a platform where the citizens of India come forward in an online infrastructure and participate in different activities and discuss the problems like Clean Ganga, Girl Child Education, Skill Development, Healthy India and so on. Apparently, India is one of the largest and youngest democratic countries in the world so, in order to make good democratic system the people’s participation is must and without their participation the success of democracy could not be possible. In order to improve it, the government has launched this program where each and every one come forward and discusses the problems and asks them to solve their problems. Digital India is a flagship program of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digital empowered society and knowledge country and as per the recent report states that India will soon adapt the Digital System in all over the country by 2025. It is the dream projects of the government and they focus different sectors like agriculture, education, financial service, logistics, retail and manufacturing where digital innovation are already driving huge productivity and growth benefits. In order to develop and implement the digitalized age the government is planning to provide the huge speed internet connectivity to 2, 50,000 gram panchayats which is called as BharatNet in order to improvise the telecommunications in India and reach the campaign goal of Digital India. The program aims to empower citizen through digital literacy and universal access to digital resources where the government has launched the Mygov websites as it is an innovative applications for direct citizen’s participation and boost their ideas and implement their thoughts in the decision making process. Digital India is a new concept for every Indian where receive real time service delivery from an online platform like AADHAR, Digilocker, Bharat Bill Payment System, PAN and so on. In order to provide such service the government has launched the new applications called UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New Age Governance).UMANG is a new mobile application that provides easy access to a mass of Indian government services ranging from healthcare, finance, education, housing, energy, agriculture, transport to even utility and employment and skills. In Digital India Campaign government has launched many projects and products like Swachh Bharat Mission Mobile Application, Digital Signature of every citizens, E- Hospital system for online registration, fee payment, fixing doctor’s appointments, online diagnostics and checking blood availability online, National Scholarship Portal for beneficiaries from submission of an application to verification, sanction and disbursal, Outsourcing Policies and so on. Digital Campaign which was launched by the Government of India to empowered the youth of country for nation building process.
