Animals today are still a huge part of the sports and entertainment industries . Animals, being increasingly used in commercial sports and they are properly trained before putting them in the fighting ring . Opinions have always been divided about the way the animals are treated during these sports events and using animals for food or to test products but their involvement within the entertainment industry have been overlooked. They have become just a piece of entertainment for us .There are animals who are forced to participate in those sports even if it is against their wishes , these activities are no game—they are about survival. Even the “winners” emerge physically and emotionally scarred—as the losing animal and owner have to pay with their lives. Electric prods, spurs, and bucking straps are being used by the owners to irritate and enrage the animals so that they fight with all their anger and strength together and it is all done for the crowd’s amusement.

The animals are starved, drugged, and beaten by the owners so as to make them aggressive. If they don’t die in the fighting ring during the fight , the “losers” are killed by their trainers—often by being electrocuted, drowned, hanged, burned, or shot. Many others are left abandoned to die slowly from their injuries. Countless animals have been severely injured and killed during these processes.

The competitor then stands before judges, enduring the misery of the ferrets' razor-sharp claws and teeth, The man who stands the longest, wins.
