Makeup Favorites Part 2

In the last blog, Makeup Favorites Part 1 https://wrytin.com/priyapunia/favorite-makeup-part-1-jx7d3jx3 I mentioned about the Primer, Foundation, Concealer, Powder, And Setting Spray that I prefer. And now it’s time to talk about the colors we love. The best things that I adore about makeup is its variety and colors. Lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadows can help create so many makeup looks and are astounding to play with.

Eyeshadow

Now, eyeshadow is something I don’t prefer for a daily makeup look. But it’s just a matter of choice where you can do a subtle look with neutrals or spice it up with intense colors. For something like eyeshadow, pigment plays an important role. If the eyeshadow is less pigmented, dusty, or chalky then you shouldn't buy it. More pigment and less fallout are a yes! Not only the formula but the colors in the eyeshadow palette maters. Morphe provides a lot of colors in its palette that are both matte and shimmer. Or you can try out NYX or Makeup Revolution as well.

Blush

Blushes are my all time favorite! It makes you look youthful and younger. Most common shades in blushes are pinks and corals. For deeper complexions, you can choose a deeper berry color or an orange.Blushes are mainly of two types, i.e., powder blushes and cream blushes. Powders are more common than creams. My favorite has to be theBalm Instain Long-Wearing Powder Staining Blush – Swiss Dot which is a very pretty red shade. If you’re looking for something more affordable then you can use Maybelline Fit me blush or Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush. When it comes to cream blush, I use the L.A. Girl Velvet Blush Contour Stick in the shade Plume which is a beautiful pink.

Highlighter

Your makeup game isn’t strong if you restrain yourself from drowning in the highlighter. Those cheekbones and nose should pop up. They also are available in shades that suit your skin color. Highlighters should be fine and not chunky on the skin.My current favorite is Revolution Pro Skin Finish in the shade Opalescent. You can also use Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder which is quite affordable. L.A. Girl Velvet Contour Highlighter Stick has worked the best for me.

Lipstick

Almost every makeup brands sell lipsticks. And most people may not buy ten different makeup products but lipstick is something unavoidable. It brings color to the face and looks very attractive. Most women’s staple makeup product is lipstick. It’s really difficult to pick a few but, for me, the best brands selling lipsticks are M.A.C. and Smashbox for high-end. And NYX, Nykaa, Makeup Revolution and Wet n Wild are brilliant and affordable. You can also choose from classical lipsticks to liquid lipsticks depending on your preference.
